     Margaret Menteith is the daughter of William Menteith of Randiford.² She married Sir John Henderson, 5th of Fordell, son of Sir John Henderson, 4th of Fordell and Agnes Balfour, on 7 February 1625.¹
      From 7 February 1625, her married name became Henderson.

     Sir John Henderson of Fordell, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir John Henderson, 5th of Fordell and Margaret Menteith.² He married Margaret Hamilton, daughter of Sir John Hamilton of Orbiston and Bethia Henderson, in October 1657.¹ He died on 26 January 1683.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Henderson, of Fordell [Nova Scotia] on 15 July 1664.¹

     unknown son Leeds is the son of Alan Whitney Leeds and Kathleen Janet Cunningham Henderson.¹
