     Violet Helen Millar was the daughter of Henry Edward Millar.1 She married Sir Clement Richard Attlee, 1st Earl Attlee, son of Henry Attlee and Ellen Bravery Watson, on 10 January 1922.1 She died on 7 June 1964.1
     From 10 January 1922, her married name became Attlee.1 As a result of her marriage, Violet Helen Millar was styled as Countess Attlee on 16 December 1955.
