     General Lord William Frederick Ernest Seymour was born on 8 December 1838.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir George Francis Seymour and Georgiana Mary Berkeley.1 He married Hon. Eva Anna Caroline Douglas-Pennant, daughter of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Lady Maria Louisa FitzRoy, on 31 August 1871 at Bangor, Caernarvonshire, WalesG.2 He died on 9 February 1915 at age 76.1
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Baltic Campaign in 1854.1 He fought in the Crimean War in 1856.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 On 7 February 1871 he was granted the rank of a marquess' younger son.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the Tower of London between 1902 and 1905.1

Eva Anna Caroline Douglas-Pennant was born circa 1851 at Penrhyn Castle, Llandegai, Caernarvonshire, WalesG.2 She was the daughter of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Lady Maria Louisa FitzRoy.1 She married General Lord William Frederick Ernest Seymour, son of Admiral Sir George Francis Seymour and Georgiana Mary Berkeley, on 31 August 1871 at Bangor, Caernarvonshire, WalesG.2 She died on 3 January 1934.1
     From 31 August 1871, her married name became Seymour.2

     Lady Emily Charlotte Seymour was the daughter of Admiral Sir George Francis Seymour and Georgiana Mary Berkeley.1 She married William Richard Ormsby-Gore, 2nd Baron Harlech, son of William Ormsby-Gore and Mary Jane Ormsby, on 10 September 1850.1 She died on 10 January 1892.1
     From 10 September 1850, her married name became Ormsby-Gore. On 7 February 1871 she was granted the rank of a marquess' daughter.1 After her marriage, Lady Emily Charlotte Seymour was styled as Baroness Harlech on 15 June 1876.

     William Richard Ormsby-Gore, 2nd Baron Harlech was born on 3 March 1819.1 He was the son of William Ormsby-Gore and Mary Jane Ormsby.2 He married Lady Emily Charlotte Seymour, daughter of Admiral Sir George Francis Seymour and Georgiana Mary Berkeley, on 10 September 1850.2 He died on 26 June 1904 at age 85.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Sligo between 1841 and 1852.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Leitrim in 1857.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Leitrim between 1858 and 1876.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Harlech [U.K., 1876] on 15 June 1876.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 13th Light Dragoons.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Sligo.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Leitrim.1

     George Ralph Charles Ormsby-Gore, 3rd Baron Harlech was born on 21 January 1855.1 He was the son of William Richard Ormsby-Gore, 2nd Baron Harlech and Lady Emily Charlotte Seymour.1 He married Lady Margaret Ethel Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, 10th Marquess of Huntly and Maria Antoinetta Pegus, on 25 July 1881.2 He died on 8 May 1938 at age 83.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Leitrim in 1885.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Merionethshire.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oswestry between 1901 and 1904.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Harlech, of Harlech, co.      Lady Margaret Ethel Gordon was the daughter of Charles Gordon, 10th Marquess of Huntly and Maria Antoinetta Pegus.1 She married George Ralph Charles Ormsby-Gore, 3rd Baron Harlech, son of William Richard Ormsby-Gore, 2nd Baron Harlech and Lady Emily Charlotte Seymour, on 25 July 1881.1 She died on 25 April 1950.1
     Her married name became Ormsby-Gore. After her marriage, Lady Margaret Ethel Gordon was styled as Baroness Harlech on 26 June 1904.
