Jane Maureen Thérèse Dormer, daughter of Charles Walter James Dormer, 15th Baron Dormer of Wyng and Lady Maureen Thérèse Josephine Noel, on 21 July 1966.1 He and Hon. Jane Maureen Thérèse Dormer were divorced.
     Henry Alistair Samuel Sandbach usually went by his middle name of Samuel.1

     Colonel Archibald Charles William Noel was born on 5 January 1914 at London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Major Hon. Charles Hubert Francis Noel and May Dick.1 He married, firstly, Bridget Mary Fetherstonhaugh, daughter of Brigadier William Albany Fetherstonhaugh, on 30 August 1945.1 He married, secondly, Andrée Maree Duchan, daughter of Pierre Duchan, on 22 December 1977.1 He died on 8 February 1997 at age 83.1
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Caversham, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1940.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign between 1945 and 1946.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Welsh Guards.1 He was commanding officer of the 2nd Battaion, Welsh Guards between 1952 and 1955.1 He was Military Attaché to South Africa between 1962 and 1966.1
