Charles Hubert Francis Noel and May Dick.¹ He married, firstly, Bridget Mary Fetherstonhaugh, daughter of Brigadier William Albany Fetherstonhaugh, on 30 August 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Andrée Maree Duchan, daughter of Pierre Duchan, on 22 December 1977.¹ He died on 8 February 1997 at age 83.¹
     Colonel Archibald Charles William Noel was educated at Oratory School, South Kensington, London, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹ He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1940.¹ He fought in the Palestine Campaign between 1945 and 1946.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Welsh Guards.¹ He was commanding officer of the 2nd Battaion, Welsh Guards between 1952 and 1955.¹ He was Military Attaché to South Africa between 1962 and 1966.¹

     Bridget Mary Fetherstonhaugh was the daughter of Brigadier William Albany Fetherstonhaugh.¹ She married Colonel Archibald Charles William Noel, son of Major Hon. Charles Hubert Francis Noel and May Dick, on 30 August 1945.¹ She died on 3 September 1976.¹
     Her married name became Noel.

     Brigadier William Albany Fetherstonhaugh is the son of Colonel William Albany Fetherstonhaugh.² He married Adela Mary Cayley, daughter of Claud Thornton Cayley and Blanche Graham Ford, on 9 June 1915.¹ He died on 25 October 1947.¹
     Brigadier William Albany Fetherstonhaugh was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the service of the 8th Cavalry, Indian Army.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).¹ He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).¹ He lived at Llanwenarth House, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales.³

     Charles William Noel was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.).¹ He lived in 2003 at 97 Harbord Street, London, England.¹
