     Sir John Wriothesley Russell was born on 22 August 1914.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Wentworth Russell and Evelyn Corothea Temple Moore.1 He married Aliki Diplarakos, daughter of George Diplarakos, on 15 December 1945.1 He died in 1984.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1956 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1958.1 He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1962.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Ethiopia between 1962 and 1966.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1965.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Brazil between 1966 and 1969.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1968.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Spain in 1969.1

     Aliki Diplarakos was the daughter of George Diplarakos.1 She married, firstly, Paul Louis Weiller in 1932.2 She married, secondly, Sir John Wriothesley Russell, son of Sir Thomas Wentworth Russell and Evelyn Corothea Temple Moore, on 15 December 1945.1 She died on 30 October 2002.1
     From 1932, her married name became Weiller.1 Her married name became Russell.

     Christopher Hugh Sykes was born on 17 November 1907.2 He was the son of Sir Tatton Benvenuto Mark Sykes, 6th Bt. and Edith Violet Gorst.1 He married Camilla Georgiana Russell, daughter of Sir Thomas Wentworth Russell and Evelyn Corothea Temple Moore, on 25 October 1936.1 He died on 8 December 1986 at age 79.1
     He was educated Downside and Ch Ch Oxford.2 He was SAS Brigade WW II (despatches, Croix de Guerre), Honour Attaché Berlin and Teheran 1930–31, 2nd Sec Teheran 1941–43, FRLS, author: Wassmuss, Innocence and Design (with Robert Byron), Stranger Wonders, High Minded Murder, Four Studies in Loyalty, T in 1928.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal L. Society (F.R.L.S.)1
