     Mary Barnewall was the daughter of Nicholas Barnewall, 1st Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland and Lady Bridget FitzGerald.1 She married Nicholas Preston, 6th Viscount Gormanston, son of Jenico Preston, 5th Viscount Gormanston and Margaret St. Lawrence.1 She died in May 1642.1
      Her married name became Preston.1 As a result of her marriage, Mary Barnewall was styled as Viscountess Gormanston on 14 March 1629/30.

     Margaret Molyneux is the daughter of Caryll Molyneux, 3rd Viscount Molyneux.1 She married, firstly, Jenico Preston, 7th Viscount Gormanston, son of Nicholas Preston, 6th Viscount Gormanston and Mary Barnewall, in November 1683.1 She married, secondly, James Butler on 10 March 1692.1
     As a result of her marriage, Margaret Molyneux was styled as Viscountess Gormanston in November 1683. From November 1683, her married name became Preston.1 From 10 March 1692, her married name became Butler.1
