     Anthony Preston, 2nd Viscount Taragh was born on 20 June 1618.¹ He was the son of Thomas Preston, 1st Viscount Taragh and unknown van der Eycken.¹ He married Margaret Warren, daughter of Anthony Warren and Hon. Mary Preston, before 14 February 1642/43.¹ He died on 24 April 1659 at age 40.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel from 1641 to 1642 in the service of the Confederation of Kilkenny Forces, County Kildare and Queen's and King's Counties.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Taragh, co. Meath [I., 1650] before 21 October 1655.¹

     Jenico Preston was the son of Nicholas Preston and Elizabeth Preston.¹ He married Margaret (?).¹ He died in 1699, without issue.¹

     Christopher Preston, 2nd Lord Preston of Gormanston is the son of Robert Preston, 1st Lord Preston of Gormanston.¹ He married Elizabeth Loundres, daughter of William Loundres.¹
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Preston of Gormanston [I., 1370] in 1396.¹ He was invested as a Knight in 1397.¹

     Robert Preston, 1st Lord Preston of Gormanston was the son of Roger Preston and Maud (?).¹ He married, secondly, Joan Hugeley.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret de Berminhgam, daughter of Walter de Berminhgam, in 1353.¹ He died in 1396.¹
