     Charlotte Halket was the daughter of Sir Charles Halket of Pitfirrane.² She married General Sir John Bruce-Hope of Craighall, 7th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall, 4th Bt. and Anne Bruce.¹ She died, without surviving issue.¹
      Her married name became Bruce-Hope.¹

     Sir Archibald Hope of Rankeillor was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Murray.² He married Margaret Aytoun, daughter of Sir John Aytoun of that Ilk.¹ He died on 10 October 1706.¹
     He held the office of Lord of Session [Scotland] in 1689.¹

     Margaret Aytoun is the daughter of Sir John Aytoun of that Ilk.² She married Sir Archibald Hope of Rankeillor, son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Murray.¹
      Her married name became Hope.

     Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall, 8th Bt. was the son of Sir Archibald Hope of Rankeillor and Margaret Aytoun.² He married Margaret Lowis, daughter of Ninian Lowis of Merchiston.³ He died in 1771.³
      He laid out The Meadows or Hope Park on Edinburgh's south side.³ He was an agriculturalist.³ He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Hope, of Craighall [N.S., 1628] in 1766.³

     Charles Hope is the son of Sir Archibald Hope of Rankeillor and Margaret Aytoun.² He married, secondly, unknown daughter Corse, daughter of John Corse.¹ He married, firstly, Marie Boyd, daughter of Thomas Boyd, in 1701.¹
     He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

      Her married name became Hope.

     Robert Hope was baptised on 1 January 1687.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Hope of Rankeillor and Margaret Aytoun.² He married Marian Glas, daughter of John Glas of Sauchie, circa 1716.¹ He died on 17 November 1743 at age 56.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).¹ He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹
