     Sir Robert Hutchison, 1st Bt. was born on 28 October 1871.1 He was the son of Robert Hutchison.1 He married Laetitia Nora Moore-Ede, daughter of Very Rev. William Moore-Ede, on 27 June 1905.1 He died on 12 February 1960 at age 88.1
     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Master of Surgery (C.M.)1 He was educated at Strasbourg University, Strasbourg, FranceG.1 He graduated in 1893 with a Edinburgh, Strasbourg and Paris Us Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.) and CM Edinburgh , Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) 1896).1 He was educated at Paris University, Paris, FranceG.1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1895 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Physicians, London (M.R.C.P.) in 1897.1 He was a consulting physician between 1900 and 1935 at Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London, England.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1903.1 He was president of the Royal School of medicine between 1934 and 1936.1 He was president of the Royal College of Physicians, London between 1938 and 1941.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hutchison, of Thurle, Parish of Streatley, Berkshire [U.K.] on 6 July 1939.1
