     Mary Ware was the daughter of Sir James Ware.2 She married Sir Edward Crofton, 1st Bt., son of George Crofton and Elizabeth Berkeley, on 12 October 1647.1 She died in 1651.1
     From 12 October 1647, her married name became Crofton.

     Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Crofton, 1st Bt. and Susanna Clifford.2 He married Katherine St. George, daughter of Sir Oliver St. George, 1st Bt., on 2 February 1684.1 He died on 24 November 1729.1
     Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle Boyle 1695.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Crofton, of The Mote, co. Roscommon [I., 1661] in 1675.1 In May 1689 he attainted by King James II's Irish Parliament.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1714.1

     Sir Edward Crofton, 4th Bt. was born on 12 April 1713.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Crofton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Nixon.2 He married Martha Damer, daughter of Joseph Damer and Mary Churchill, on 17 June 1741.1 He died on 26 March 1745 at age 31 at Tournai, France, killed in action, without issue.1
     Sir Edward Crofton, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Crofton, of The Mote, co. Roscommon [I., 1661] on 11 November 1739.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Roscommon.1
