     John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay was born on 5 June 1786.¹ He was the son of Alexander Burnett, 4th of Kemnay and Christian Leslie.² He married Mary Stuart, daughter of Charles Stuart and Mary Erskine, in June 1814.¹ He died on 22 December 1847 at age 61.¹

     Charles Stuart was the son of James Stuart and Elizabeth Drummond.² He married, secondly, Margaret Parlane.² He married, firstly, Mary Erskine, daughter of Reverend John Erskine and Hon. Christian Mackay, on 29 October 1773.² He died in 1826.²
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)² He lived at Dunearn, Fife, Scotland.² He held the office of President of the Royal College of Physicians of Scotland between 1806 and 1809.² He was President of the Royal Society of Scotland between 1807 and 1809.²

     Mary Stuart was the daughter of Charles Stuart and Mary Erskine.² She married John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay, son of Alexander Burnett, 4th of Kemnay and Christian Leslie, in June 1814.¹ She died on 1 March 1872.¹
     From June 1814, her married name became Burnett.

     Alexander George Burnett, 6th of Kemnay was born on 6 November 1816.¹ He was the son of John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay and Mary Stuart.² He married, firstly, Letitia Amelia Kendall, daughter of William Kendall, on 4 September 1849.¹ He married, secondly, Anna Maria Pledge, daughter of Reverend Ebenezer Pledge, on 1 August 1877.¹ He married Emily Julia Birch, daughter of Joseph Birch, on 18 July 1893.¹ He died in January 1908 at age 91.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Charles John Burnett was born on 18 August 1820.¹ He was the son of John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay and Mary Stuart.² He died on 12 August 1907 at age 86.¹

     George Burnett was born on 9 March 1822.¹ He was the son of John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay and Mary Stuart.² He married Alice Stuart, daughter of John Alexander Stuart and Margaret Murray, on 11 August 1870.¹ He died on 24 January 1890 at age 67.¹
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1863.¹ He held the office of Lord Lyon King of Arms Depute between 1863 and 1866.¹ He held the office of Lord Lyon King of Arms between 1866 and 1890.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     John Alexander Stuart was born on 4 November 1787.² He is the son of Charles Stuart and Mary Erskine.² He married Margaret Murray, daughter of Thomas Murray, on 13 May 1824.² He died on 3 November 1869 at age 81.²
     He lived at Carnock, Fife, Scotland.²

     Alice Stuart was the daughter of John Alexander Stuart and Margaret Murray.² She married George Burnett, son of John Burnett, 5th of Kemnay and Mary Stuart, on 11 August 1870.¹ She died on 5 July 1908.¹

     John George Burnett was born on 30 March 1876.¹ He was the son of George Burnett and Alice Stuart.² He married Catherine Sarah Helen, daughter of Duncan Malcolm Irvine Helen, on 13 November 1901.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Member of the Aberdeen Town Council between 1927 and 1930.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1930 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for North Aberdeen between 1931 and 1935.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He lived at Powis, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Catherine Sarah Helen was the daughter of Duncan Malcolm Irvine Helen.¹ She married John George Burnett, son of George Burnett and Alice Stuart, on 13 November 1901.¹ She died on 1 October 1944.¹
     From 13 November 1901, her married name became Burnett.
