     Lilias Stirling was the daughter of Sir George Stirling of Keir.1 She married, firstly, John Murray of Polmaisey before 1725.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Erskine, son of David Erskine, 2nd Lord Cardross and Anne Hope, on 28 April 1725.1 She died on 27 March 1729, without issue.1
     From before 1725, her married name became Murray.1 From 28 April 1725, her married name became Erskine.
