     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Worcs).1 Patron livings of Hanley Castle and Eldersfield, Worcs.1 He was also known as 4th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 On 1 March 1897 married 2nd Katherine (died 11 Dec 1955), daughter of Edward Peyton Wright, of Brunswick Sq, London W.1

Charles Wigram Long and Constance Mary Vansittart, on 7 August 1915.1 He died on 22 February 1965 at age 78.1
