Sir Berwick Hungerford Lechmere Lechmere was born on 21 September 1917.1 He was the son of Sir Ronald Berwick Hungerford Lechmere Lechmere and Constance Marguerite Long.2 He married Susan Adele Mary Maunsell-Smyth on 24 May 1952.1 He died on 24 June 2001 at age 83, without issue.1
He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Worcs 1966.1 He was educated Charterhouse and Magdalene College Cambridge.1 He was FRICS, Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.).1 He was also known as 6th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was married 2nd •Norah Garrett, eldest dau of Lieutenant-Colonel Christopher Garrett Elkington, DSO, DL, of The Moat Ho, Cutnall Green, Worcs (see BLG 1952) on 17 November 1954.1 He was High Sheriff , Vice-Lieutenant of Hampshire Hereford and Worcester 1977 (DL Worcs 1972–74, Hereford and Worcester 1974–77) in 1962.1 He lived in 2003 at Church End House, Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, England.1
