     Harbord Harbord, 1st Baron Suffield was born on 26 January 1734 [15 Jan 1734 O.S.] at Thorpe, Norfolk, England.2 He was the son of Sir William Harbord, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Britiffe.2 He married Mary Assheton, daughter of Sir Ralph Assheton, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Copley, on 7 October 1760 at Middleton, Lancashire, England.2 He died on 4 February 1810 at age 76.
     Harbord Harbord, 1st Baron Suffield succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Harbord. He was created 1st Baron Suffield in 1786.
