     Cecilia Mary Wythes was born on 27 March 1900. She is the daughter of Ernest James Wythes and Aline Thorold.² She married Sir Geoffrey Ronald Codrington, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alfred Edward Codrington and Adela Harriet Portal, on 24 May 1923.¹ She died in 1979.¹
