John Macdougall, 22nd of Dunollie and of Lorn was the son of Allan Macdougall, 21st of Dunollie and of Lorn and Mary MacLachlan.2 He married Mary MacDonald, daughter of William MacDonald, in 1712.1 He died in 1737, with three younger sons (Allan.1
Pardoned and allowed to return home.1 Duncan.1 John).1 OF DUNOLLIE and OF LORN.1 In 1715 joined the Uprising of , was present at Sheriffmuir and forfeited his estates.1 In June 1727 made a prisoner and was conveyed in from Newgate to Gravesend for transportation to Barbados.1
