     Lt.-Gen. Sir George Bryan Milman was born on 30 December 1822.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Francis Miles Milman and Maria Margaretta Morgan.2 He married Mary Rose Walton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Lovelace Walton, on 15 May 1861.1 He died on 28 January 1915 at age 92.1
     He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He gained the rank of Major between 1870 and 1909 in the Tower of London.1 He was Colonel of the 5th Northumberland Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.1
