     William Bell was born in 1786 at London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Hugh Bell and Bethia Bell.2 He married Elizabeth Kinnear, daughter of George Kinnear and Fearne Gardiner, on 5 July 1820 at Cargillfield, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He died on 26 April 1873 at 36 Woburn Place, London, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 8 November 1910.2
     He was a merchant in 1841 at Aldersgate, London, EnglandG.2 He was an Official Assignee in Bankruptcy in 1845 at London, EnglandG.2

     Grace Henrietta Hamilton Bell was born on 12 September 1842 at Aldgate, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of William Bell and Elizabeth Kinnear.3,2 She was baptised on 11 January 1843 at St. Botolph Without, Aldgate, London, EnglandG.2 She married Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman, son of Lt.-Gen. Francis Miles Milman and Maria Margaretta Morgan, on 8 September 1874.1 She died on 6 December 1909 at age 67.1
     From 8 September 1874, her married name became Milman.

     Edmund Wilbraham Everard Milman was born on 19 January 1880.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Grace Henrietta Hamilton Bell.2 He died on 16 February 1909 at age 29, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Indian Army.1

Lt.-Col. Octavius Rodney Everard Milman1

     Lt.-Col. Octavius Rodney Everard Milman was born on 23 April 1882.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Grace Henrietta Hamilton Bell.2 He married Mary Freya Haigh, daughter of Reverend William Edward Haigh, on 30 November 1911.1 He died on 19 June 1971 at age 89.1
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Fellow and Bursar at Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Master of Arts (M.A.) by Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1930.1
