     From 26 April 1855, her married name became Spring Rice.

     Professor Charles Martin Robertson was born on 11 September 1911 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was the son of Professor Donald Struan Robertson.1 He married Theodosia Cecil Spring Rice, daughter of Edward Dominck Spring Rice and Margaret Lois Garrett, on 4 September 1942.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Holstein in 1988.2 He died on 26 December 2004 at age 93 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2
     He was appointed Fellow, British Academy (F.B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He wrote the book Greek Painting, published 1959.2 He was Lincoln Professor of Classical Archaeology and Art between 1961 and 1978 at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He wrote the book The Art of Vase-Painting in Classical Athens, published 1992.2 He wrote the book A History of Greek Art, published 1995.2 He lived in 2003 at 7a Parker Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1
