     James Charles Macaulay Booth was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was decorated with the Croix de Guerre.1
