     Henry Carey was the son of George Saville, 1st Marquess of Halifax. He died on 4 October 1743, (allegedly by suicide) , with three other children:.1

     Edmund (?) was born on 4 November 1787.1 He was the son of Anna Carey. He married Mary Chambers in July 1808.1 He died on 15 May 1833 at age 45, with an elder son (Howard, born 8 Oct 1811, died c 1813):.1
      Actor, notably of Shakespeare roles, as which he made his name playing Shylock (ironically in view of the financial help with his educn given him by a Jew).1
