     Colonel Hon. Charles Dutton was born on 13 December 1842. He was the son of James Henry Legge Dutton, 3rd Baron Sherborne and Elizabeth Howard. He married May Arbuthnot Taylor, daughter of George Noble Taylor, on 23 January 1869. He died on 6 November 1909 at age 66.
