     Derrick Alix Pease was born on 4 March 1927.1 He is the son of Sir Richard Arthur Pease, 2nd Bt. and Jeannette Thorn Kissel.2 He married Hon. Rosemary Portman, daughter of Edward Claud Berkeley Portman, 5th Viscount Portman and Hon. Sybil Mary Douglas-Pennant, on 24 July 1951.1 He died on 28 May 1998 at age 71.1
     Derrick Alix Pease also went by the nick-name of Sandy.1 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1948 in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Greater London in 1972.1 He was chairman of the Investment Management Committee, Central Board of Finance, Church of England in 1974.1 He was chairman of National Mutual Life Assurance Society in 1975.1
