     Lt.-Col. Arnold Ramsay Keppel was born on 14 September 1879.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward George Keppel and Mary Cecilia Georgiana King.1 He married Laura Margaret Martin, daughter of Hugh Martin, on 7 November 1922.1 He died on 18 June 1930 at age 50.1
     Lt.-Col. Arnold Ramsay Keppel was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Lady Emily Theresa Villiers was born on 9 September 1843 at Grosvenor Crescent, London, England.1 She was the daughter of George William Villiers, 4th Earl of Clarendon and Lady Katherine Grimston.1 She married Sir Odo William Leopold Russell, 1st Baron Ampthill, son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Sir George William Russell and Elizabeth Anne Rawdon, on 5 May 1868 at Watford, Hertfordshire, England.1 She died on 22 February 1927 at age 83.2
     Her married name became Russell. As a result of her marriage, Lady Emily Theresa Villiers was styled as Baroness Ampthill on 11 March 1881. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria between 1885 and 1901.1 She was invested as a Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 3rd class.1
