     Lady Mary Catherine Browne usually went by her middle name of Catherine. From 24 March 1851, her married name became Berkeley.1

     Thomas Browne, 3rd Earl of Kenmare was born on 15 January 1789.2 He was the son of Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare and Mary Aylmer.1 He married Catherine O'Callaghan, daughter of Edmond O'Callaghan and Ellen O'Brien, in 1822.1 He died on 26 December 1871 at age 82.1
     He fought in the Peninsular Wars, with 40th Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [I., 1622] on 31 October 1853.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Kenmare [I., 1798] on 31 October 1853.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Castlerosse [I., 1801] on 31 October 1853.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Kenmare [I., 1801] on 31 October 1853.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Castlerosse [I., 1798] on 31 October 1853.1 He was created 1st Baron Kenmare of Killarney, co.      Catherine O'Callaghan was the daughter of Edmond O'Callaghan and Ellen O'Brien.2 She married Thomas Browne, 3rd Earl of Kenmare, son of Valentine Browne, 1st Earl of Kenmare and Mary Aylmer, in 1822.1 She died in October 1854.3
     From 1822, her married name became Browne.1 After her marriage, Catherine O'Callaghan was styled as Countess of Kenmare on 31 October 1853.

     Valentine Augustus Browne, 4th Earl of Kenmare was born on 16 May 1825.1 He was the son of Thomas Browne, 3rd Earl of Kenmare and Catherine O'Callaghan.1 He married Gertrude Harriet Thynne, daughter of Reverend Lord Charles Thynne and Harriet Frances Bagot, on 28 April 1858.2 He died on 9 February 1905 at age 79.2
