Therese Gräfin von Mirbach-Geldern-Egmont was born on 11 April 1911. She is the daughter of Alfons Graf von Mirbach-Geldern-Egmont and Countess Maria Hoyos. She married Albrecht Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Jagstberg, son of Johann Friedrich zu Hohenlohe-Jagstberg and Anna Maria Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 22 October 1936.
From 22 October 1936, her married name became zu Hohenlohe-Jagstberg. Therese Gräfin von Mirbach-Geldern-Egmont also went by the nick-name of Sassy.
