     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 48th Regiment.2 He lived at Eastwell, Potterne, Wiltshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2
