     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (London).1 He was educated Trin College Cambridge (MA, LLB).1 He was Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.)1 He was barrister Inner Temple, Chm LCC , Mayor Kensington 1911–12, memb Metropolitan Water Bd, Major 2nd Battalion London Regiment WW I (Malta, Egypt and Gallipoli) in 1910.1
