     George Edward Thorold was born on 11 February 1806.1 He was the son of Reverend George Thorold and Elizabeth Baugh.2 He married Alice Alicia Anne Mann, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cornelius Mann and Sarah Fyers, on 5 November 1835 at Gibraltar.1 He died on 4 April 1874 at age 68, with a daughter (died unm):.1
     He was Colonel 42nd Highlanders.1

     From 5 November 1835, her married name became Thorold.

Reginald Gother Thorold was born on 7 August 1837.1 He was the son of George Edward Thorold and Alice Alicia Anne Mann.2 He married Fanny Lukin, daughter of Lionel Lukin, on 27 October 1858.1 He married Charlotte Sophia Elton, daughter of Captain James Frederick Elton, on 19 December 1871.1 He married Frederica Mary Cockle, daughter of Sir James Cockle, on 19 February 1913.1 He died on 29 April 1928 at age 90.1
     He was Major-General Royal Engineers.1

     Hayford Douglas Thorold was born on 20 July 1861.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Reginald Gother Thorold and Fanny Lukin.2 He married Elizabeth Mary Kirkpatrick, daughter of Alexander Richard Kirkpatrick and Catherine Louisa Trench, in 1883.1 He died on 28 April 1934 at age 72.1
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel W R Regiment.1 He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
