     He lived at Kirkness, Scotland.¹

     Margaret Forrester was born circa 1575 at Fife, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Thomas Forrester of Strathendry and Isobel Learmonth.^1,3 She married Sir George Douglas, 1st of Kirkness and Kynnesswood, son of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton and Lady Agnes Leslie, in 1597.¹
     From 1597, her married name became Douglas.¹

     Thomas Forrester of Strathendry married Isobel Learmonth, daughter of George Learmonth of Balcomie and Lady Euphemia Leslie.²
