     Patrick Bellew was born before 1695. He was the son of Sir John Bellew, 2nd Bt. and Mary Margaret Taylor.2 He married, firstly, Mary Bourke, daughter of Richard Bourke, 8th Earl of Clanricarde, in July 1713.2 He married, secondly, Frances Hamilton, daughter of Sir George Hamilton, Comte Hamilton and Frances Jenyns, circa 1714.1 He died on 12 June 1720, without issue.3 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow on 30 June 1720.3

     Lady Anne Hamilton was born in 1592.2 She was the daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Abercorn and Marion Boyd.1 She married Hugh Sempill, 5th Lord Sempill, son of Robert Sempill, 4th Lord Sempill and Lady Agnes Montgomerie, circa 7 November 1611.3 She died before 1620, without male issue.3
      From circa 7 November 1611, her married name became Sempill.3

     Francis Hay, 9th Earl of Erroll was the son of Andrew Hay, 8th Earl of Erroll and Lady Jean Hay.2 He married by contract, firstly, Lady Margaret Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Moray and Lady Anne Keith, on 27 June 1584.2 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Margaret Fleming, circa January 1586/87.2 He married, thirdly, Lady Elizabeth Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton and Lady Agnes Leslie, in 1590.2 He died on 16 July 1631.2
     He held the office of Lord High Constable [Scotland]. He succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Erroll [S., 1452] on 8 October 1585.2 He succeeded to the title of 10th Lord Hay [S., 1430] on 8 October 1585.2 He fought in the Battle of Glenlivet on 3 October 1594, where he risen up in rebellion against Parliament.2 In 1597 he was pardoned after several years of exile.2 He was Commissioner to negotiate peace with England in 1604.2

William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton1

     William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton was born in 1539/40.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven and Margaret Erskine.3 He married Lady Agnes Leslie, daughter of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes and Margaret Crichton, on 19 August 1554.4 He died circa 24 September 1606.2
      From 1567 to 1568 he had custody of Mary Queen of Scots during her imprisonment at Lochleven.4 He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Morton [S., 1458] on 4 August 1588.5
