     George Arbuthnot-Leslie was born on 12 March 1847.2 He was the son of George Arbuthnot and Marie Thomas.2 He married Mary Rose Leslie, 12th of Warthill, daughter of William Leslie, 11th of Warthill and 9th of Folla, on 4 August 1875.3 He died on 1 November 1896 at age 49.3
     He was given the name of George Arbuthnot at birth.3 He lived at Warthill, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.4

Frederick Charles Aylmer was born on 24 July 1814 at Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Admiral John Aylmer and Frances Pearson.1 He married Maria Anne Gwatkin, daughter of John Gwatkin and Charlotte Fincher Trist, on 22 September 1853.1 He died on 20 March 1882 at age 67, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 89th Regiment.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur of Medjidie.1

     Colonel Francis Douglas Farquhar was born on 17 September 1874.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Thomas Farquhar, 4th Bt. and Hon. Alice Brand.1,2 He married Lady Evelyn Hely Hutchinson, daughter of John Luke George Hely Hutchinson, 5th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Frances Isabella Stephens, on 27 April 1905.1 He died on 20 March 1915 at age 40, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the Somaliland Expedition between 1903 and 1904.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Commanding Officer of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.1
