He married Lady Mary Rosemary Marie-Gabrielle Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, daughter of Archibald Ralph Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Wharncliffe and Lady Maud Lillian Elfreda Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, on 15 April 1953.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1946 in the service of the RARO.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Carmethenshire in 1965.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Carmarthenshire in 1971.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Carmarthenshire between 1973 and 1974.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed between 1979 and 2002.² He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1995.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.).² He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.).²

     Patrick Charles Archibald Mansel Lewis was born on 25 November 1953.¹ He is the son of Sir David Courtenay Mansel Lewis and Lady Mary Rosemary Marie-Gabrielle Montagu-Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie.¹ He married Claire Mary Houston, daughter of Lieutenant Alexander William Houston and Averil Vivian, on 23 March 1985.¹

Hamilton, son of P. N. Hamilton, in 1985.¹ She and Christopher N. Hamilton were divorced.¹

C. Herbert, son of H. R. Herbert, in 1990.¹

     Charles Ronald Mansel Lewis is the son of Charles William Mansel Lewis. He married Lillian Georgina Warner, daughter of Sir Thomas Courtenay Theydon Warner, 1st Bt. and Lady Leucha Diana Maude, on 4 November 1925.

She married Lieutenant David Archibald James Chapman, son of Colonel David Phellps Chapman, on 20 March 1915.¹ She married Charles Ronald Mansel Lewis, son of Charles William Mansel Lewis, on 4 November 1925.
      From 20 March 1915, her married name became Chapman. From 4 November 1925, her married name became Mansel Lewis.
