     Karl Viktor Prinz von Wied was born on 19 May 1913 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany.1 He was the son of Wilhelm Friedrich Heinrich Prinz von Wied and Sophie Helene Cecilie Prinzessin von Schönburg-Waldenburg.1 He married Eileen Johnston, daughter of George Johnston and Alice Percival, on 8 September 1966 at New York City, New York, U.S.A..1 He died on 8 December 1973 at age 60 at Munich, Bavaria, Germany, without issue.1 He was buried at Neuwied, Nordrhein-Westfahlen, Germany.1
     Karl Viktor Prinz von Wied gained the title of Hereditary Prince Carol Victor of Albania in 1914.1 He gained the title of Prinz von Wied.1
