     Captain Marcus Samuel Hill was born on 25 August 1769 at Londonderry, County Londonderry, Ireland.2 He was the son of Sir Hugh Hill, 1st Bt. and Hannah McClintock.1 He married Mary Barnard, daughter of Rev. Dr. Henry Barnard and Mary Canning, in 1795.1,2 He died on 24 June 1834 at age 64 at King's Bench Prison, Southwark, London, England.2
