     Margaret Balfour was born before 1531. She was the daughter of David Balfour and Agnes Forester.1 She married Sir Robert Douglas, son of Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven, before 1500.1

     Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester was born before 1613. He married, firstly, Susannah Hill, daughter of John Hill and Dorothy Beaumont, on 6 February 1623. He married, secondly, Anne Rich, daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton, on 1 July 1625. He married, thirdly, Essex Cheeke, daughter of Sir Thomas Cheeke, on 30 December 1642. He married, fifthly, Lady Margaret Russell, daughter of Sir Francis Russell, 4th Earl of Bedford and Hon. Catharine Brydges, on 1 August 1667.1 He died on 5 May 1671.1
     Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester gained the title of 2nd Earl of Manchester.

     Anne Rich is the daughter of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton. She married Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester on 1 July 1625.
     Her married name became Montagu.

     Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick was born in December 1559.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Rich, 2nd Baron Rich and Elizabeth Baldry.2 He married Penelope Devereux, daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex and Lettice Knollys, between October 1581 and November 1581.3 He died on 24 March 1618/19 at age 59 at Allington House, Holborn, Middlesex, England.2
     Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick gained the title of 1st Earl of Warwick in 1618.
