     Ian Metcalfe Telfer was the son of John Telfer.1 He married Hon. Laetitia Mary Bruce, daughter of George John Gordon Bruce, 7th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Violet Dorothy Evelyn Done, on 8 July 1955.1 He died in 1988.1
     He was registered as a Mmeber, Royal College of General Practitioners (M.R.C.G.P.)1

     Ian Hedworth John Little Gilmour, Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar was born on 8 July 1926.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Little Gilmour of Craigmillar, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Victoria Laura Cadogan.2 He married Lady Caroline Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch and Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles, on 10 July 1951.1 He died on 21 September 2007 at age 81.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was admitted to barrister in 1952.2 He was editor of Spectator between 1954 and 1959.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
