     Ian Metcalfe Telfer was the son of John Telfer.1 He married Hon. Laetitia Mary Bruce, daughter of George John Gordon Bruce, 7th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Violet Dorothy Evelyn Done, on 8 July 1955.1 He died in 1988.1

     Sir Ian Hedworth John Little Gilmour, Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar was born on 8 July 1926. He was the son of Sir John Little Gilmour, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Victoria Laura Cadogan. He married Lady Caroline Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 10th Duke of Queensberry and Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles, on 10 July 1951.1 He died on 21 September 2007 at age 81.2
     Sir Ian Hedworth John Little Gilmour, Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar gained the title of 3rd Baronet Gilmour. He was created Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar, of Craigmillar in the District of the City of Edinburgh [U.K. Life Peer] on 25 August 1992.2
