     Captain Peter Evelyn Fanshawe was the son of Captain Guy Dalrymple Fanshawe.2 He married Helen Mary Trafford, daughter of Major Sigismund William Joseph Trafford and Lady Elizabeth Constance Mary Bertie, on 10 December 1936.2 He died in 1994.2
     He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.

     Captain Guy Dalrymple Fanshawe was the son of Admiral Sir Arthur Fanshawe.2 He married Louisa Charlotte Crichton, daughter of Colonel Hon. Sir Henry Geroge Louis Crichton and Letitia Grace Cole-Hamilton, on 16 August 1910.1 He died on 19 June 1962.1
     He lived at Dalveagh, Aberfoyle, Perthshire, Scotland.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Captain Charles Antony Lyell, 2nd Baron Lyell, V.C. was born on 14 June 1913.1 He was the son of Major Hon. Charles Henry Lyell and Rosalind Margaret Watney.2 He married Sophie Mary Trafford, daughter of Major Sigismund William Joseph Trafford and Lady Elizabeth Constance Mary Bertie, on 4 July 1938.3 He died on 27 April 1943 at age 29 at Tunisia, killed in action.
     He was Captain Scots Guards WW II.1 He gained the title of 2nd Baron Lyell. He fought in the Second World War. He was decorated with the award of the Victoria Cross (V.C.) (posthumously) on 12 August 1943, for his actions on 27 April 1943.4 He lived in 2003 at Kinnordy, Kirriemuir, Angus DD8 5ER; 20 Petersham Mews, Elvaston Pl, London SW7 5AR.1
