     Archibald Hamilton was the son of Malcolm Hamilton.1 He married Hon. Anne Balfour, daughter of James Balfour, 1st Lord Balfour, Baron of Glenawley and Grisold Balfour, before 1639.1 He died on 10 March 1659, without issue.1
     Archibald Hamilton lived at Ballygally, County Tyrone, Ireland.1
