Captain Herbert Cecil Fitzroy Sitwell was born on 20 January 1896. He was the son of Herbert Wellington Sitwell and Julietta Fisher Cary. He married Helen Barlow, daughter of Dr. William E. Barlow, in 1921. He married Phronsic Irene Marsh, daughter of Peter Addison Marsh, on 14 May 1961. He died in 1965.
