     Mary Ainslie Profumo was the daughter of Baron Albert Peter Anthony Profumo.1 She married Harold Harington Balfour, 1st Baron Balfour of Inchrye, son of Colonel Nigel Harington Balfour and Grace Annette Marie Madocks, on 2 January 1947.1 She died on 6 January 1999.2
     Mary Ainslie Profumo also went by the nick-name of Maina.2 From 2 January 1947, her married name became Balfour.1 As a result of her marriage, Mary Ainslie Profumo was styled as Baroness Balfour of Inchrye on 2 January 1947. She lived in 1999 at End House, St. Mary Abbots Place, London, England.3
