     Sir Thomas Sydney Lea, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 January 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Lea, 1st Bt. and Louey Birch.2 He married Mary Ophelia Woodward, daughter of Robert Woodward, on 5 September 1896.1 He died on 18 November 1946 at age 79.1
      Sir Thomas Sydney Lea, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Sydney.1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Lea, of The Larches, co. Worcester and Sea Grove, co. Devon [U.K., 1892] on 9 January 1902.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1

     Lt.-Col. Augustus Henry Moreton Macdonald was born on 3 November 1848.1 He was the son of Hon. Augustus Henry Moreton Macdonald of Largie and Mary Jane Macdonald Lockhart.1 He married Anna Harriet Mary Sutton, daughter of Sir Richard Sutton, 4th Bt. and Harriet Anne Burton, on 25 July 1874.1 He died on 6 August 1918 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He lived at Hillgrove, Bembridge, Isle of Wight, England.2
