     Edith Charlotte Frances Cholmondeley was the daughter of Lord Henry Vere Cholmondeley and Fanny Isabella Catherine Spencer.1,2 She married, firstly, Robert Edward Heaven, son of Joseph Robert Heaven and Dona Marie Guadelupe Ramires de Arellano, Marquesa de Braceras, on 2 June 1892.1 She married, secondly, Dr. Matthew Burrow Ray, son of Richard Ray and Nancy Sanderson, on 9 December 1913.3 She died on 28 September 1954.1
     From 2 June 1892, her married name became Heaven. From 9 December 1913, her married name became Ray.
