Edward Symes Bayly was born on 9 April 1807.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Lambart Bayly and Selina Levinge.1 He married Catherine FitzGerald, daughter of Maurice FitzGerald, 18th Knight of Kerry and Maria La Touche, on 20 June 1835.1 He died on 26 November 1884 at age 77.1

Catherine FitzGerald was born in 1814.3 She was the daughter of Maurice FitzGerald, 18th Knight of Kerry and Maria La Touche.1,2 She married Edward Symes Bayly, son of Reverend Henry Lambart Bayly and Selina Levinge, on 20 June 1835.1 She died in 1898.3

Maurice FitzGerald, 18th Knight of Kerry was born on 29 December 1772.2 He was the son of Robert FitzGerald, 17th Knight of Kerry and Katherine Sandes.2,3 He married Elenor FitzGerald, daughter of Thomas McEdmond and Margaret Burke.4 He married, secondly, Cecilia Maria (?).2 He married, firstly, Maria La Touche, daughter of Rt. Hon. David Digges La Touche, on 5 November 1801.2 He died on 6 March 1849 at age 76.2
