     F/Lt. Richard Osborne Curtis was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Osborne Curtis. He married Bernadette Mary Lees, daughter of Captain Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe, on 3 July 1943. He died on 20 January 1944, killed in action.
     F/Lt. Richard Osborne Curtis fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserves.

     Major Gordon Robin Kingston Lyon was born on 3 July 1925.1 He married Bernadette Mary Lees, daughter of Captain Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe, in 1956.
     Major Gordon Robin Kingston Lyon gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel at Kuwait.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Major.1

     Leila Mary Heaton was the daughter of David Rimington Heaton.1 She married Edward Henry Harold Ward, 7th Viscount Bangor, son of Lt.-Col. Maxwell Richard Crosbie Ward, 6th Viscount Bangor and Agnes Elizabeth Hamilton, on 12 November 1947.1 She and Edward Henry Harold Ward, 7th Viscount Bangor were divorced in 1951.2 She died on 23 February 1959.1
     From 12 November 1947, her married name became Ward.1 As a result of her marriage, Leila Mary Heaton was styled as Viscountess Bangor on 17 November 1950.
