     Lt.-Cdr. Harry Selby Bennett is the son of Cecil Harry Andrew Bennett and Katharine Ormond. He married Dolores Lees, daughter of Captain Bernard Percy Turnbull Lees and Mary Radcliffe, on 18 April 1953.
     Lt.-Cdr. Harry Selby Bennett gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.

     Cecil Harry Andrew Bennett was born on 14 March 1898. He was the son of H. G. Dudley Bennett.2 He married, firstly, Katharine Ormond, daughter of Lt.-Col. Selby Ormond, in 1925. He married, secondly, Cynthia Ernestine Elton, daughter of Frederick Elton and Ernestine White, on 12 April 1933.1 He died on 19 September 1967 at age 69.
     Cecil Harry Andrew Bennett was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.).1 He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1
