     F/O. Nathaniel Alexander Lindley was born on 14 September 1901.1 He is the son of Hon. Lennox Hannay Lindley and Karineh (?).1 He married Barbara Constance Slade, daughter of Sir Cuthbert Slade, 4th Bt. and Kathleen Scovell, on 1 June 1931.1
     F/O. Nathaniel Alexander Lindley gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.1

     Karineh (?) was also known as Caroline Grevotte.1 Her married name became Lindley.

     Basil Arthur Slade was born on 29 May 1865. He was the son of Sir Alfred Frederic Adolphus Slade, 3rd Bt. and Mary Constance Cuthbert. He married, firstly, Louisa Mary Clements, daughter of William Clements, on 29 March 1891. He and Louisa Mary Clements were divorced in 1925. He married, secondly, Grace Joanna Tame, daughter of Edward Harrison Tame, on 6 November 1925. He died on 21 July 1930 at age 65.

     Lt.-Cdr. Frederick William Patrick Slade was born on 19 January 1892. He was the son of Basil Arthur Slade and Louisa Mary Clements. He married Marie Perruche, daughter of Edouard Perruche, on 2 May 1914. He died on 14 May 1928 at age 36.
     Lt.-Cdr. Frederick William Patrick Slade gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.
