     Philippa Janice Victoria Craxton is the daughter of W/Cdr. Leonard Victor Craxton.² She married David James Theobald Somerset Butler, 10th Earl of Carrick, son of Brian Stuart Theobald Somerset Caher Butler, 9th Earl of Carrick and Mary Belinda Constable-Maxwell, in 1975.¹

He was the son of Claud Hugh Strickland and Una Clara Margaret Bell.¹ He married Lady Marguerite Rose Bligh, daughter of Esme Ivo Bligh, 9th Earl of Darnley and Daphne Rachel Mulholland, on 3 August 1934.¹ He and Lady Marguerite Rose Bligh were divorced in February 1941.¹ He died in October 1941 at age 32, killed in action.¹
     F/O Claud Dobrée Strickland was a stockbroker.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Army Air Force.¹
