     Colonel Hon. William Bligh was born on 25 September 1775.1 He was the son of John Bligh, 3rd Earl of Darnley and Mary Stoyte.1 He married Lady Sophia Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood, on 21 July 1806.1 He died on 8 August 1845 at age 69.1

     Anne Julia Brownlow was the daughter of Reverend Francis Brownlow and Lady Catherine Bourke.1 She married Hon. Sir John Duncan Bligh, son of John Bligh, 4th Earl of Darnley and Elizabeth Brownlow, on 28 November 1865.1 She died on 19 July 1882, without issue.1
     From 28 November 1865, her married name became Bligh.1

     Reverend Francis Brownlow was born on 12 June 1779. He was the son of Rt. Hon. William Brownlow and Catherine Hall. He married Lady Catherine Bourke, daughter of Anthony Brabazon, 8th Earl of Meath and Grace Leigh, on 6 August 1799. He died on 20 October 1847 at age 68.
     Reverend Francis Brownlow was the Rector at Upper Comber, County Derry, Ireland.
